We’re Hiring – DONE

June 8, 2011 by Marguerita

All positions are filled and if you emailed me, I am saving it for next year for when we hope to add another boat. Best of luck to all & many thanks!

Commercial Salmon fishing vessel looking for reliable, hard working, skiffman. Must be available NOW to August 31st. Requires boots, raingear & commercial fishing license. Here’s your chance at the job of a lifetime! SMALL BOAT! If you’ve been watching Deadliest Catch – forget it. Salmon fishing is safer but the boats are smaller. Ability to cook a huge plus. NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL TOLERATED. NONE and you better believe that I mean it. Alcohol and drugs will be destroyed and you’ll get thrown off the boat at the first port entered. Email me and tell me about yourself if you want the job. Skipper will be hiring this week & weekend.

Hi, I was wondering do you have to live in the Seward or Homer area? I live in Kodiak, so far no luck for me here. Btw, its great you have a no drug/ alcohol policy, because I going in a sane boat, is ideal!

    Hi Tom,

This is Jason, Wow…cool website!!! Remember that year me and Anthony kept falling off the boat? Anyways…I left the Post Office to pursue a poker career but I’m not as good as I thought. I was surfin cl and almost shit my pants when I seen your ad. I would do my best to be more responsible than last time and wont go crazy on the draws……along with eating all the boat food. If I don’t hear from you ….be safe, and tear ’em up this season!!

This is Steven Peterson and heard about animal, that sucks. Anyway i have been helping Alec Branson get his Seiner ready, like about over 2 months trying and does not look like were going to make it, are you still needing a deckhand or skiffman? Had my phone stolen and so if interested, contact me through Alec, the number is 362-0362
I am serious and have changed my ways and willing to work hard if you want someone to stick it out and work.

Hello Marguerite! Thanks for stopping by Hooked; I’m happy to found your site in return. Great photos, and I love your job ad here. Seems that the hardest part about our work is finding good deckhands – people who not only do the work well, but are folks you want to live with for the next 3 months! Glad to read that you guys have been happy with your crew, and hope the season’s been going well for you all.

    Be well –
    Tele
